Tomorrow begins the first day of Paris Fashion week, which happens to be my favorite of the 4 families. Paris is my favorite city in the world (sorry NY, you're a close second) and has me desperate to board a plan immediately. Sadly, I am anxiously awaiting the live streaming of the shows I am most looking forward to- Dior, Chloe, Valentino (eeek yes!), and Louis Vuitton. The street fashion in Paris is always a sight to see, and I recommend Garance Doré's blog as a wonderful dose of french chic. What is your favorite fashion week? And remember, Paris doesn't always have to mean all black.
I, alone with the girls from coathanger.net that I visited Paris with last year, have always thought that the street fashion was far more impressive than the catwalk. It's far more informed, much more wearable and often crops up in the high street before the designer stuff does. I have some incredible photos from 2006 PFW, I'll try and find them and get you a link.
