Bean Boots

I am having an internal debate on my opinion on bean boots. Which is a rare thing because I am not really one to debate my opinion, it is usually pretty clear cut.  However, I cannot make up my mind on how I feel about bean boots! They are a preppy staple and adored by many in New England as a very functional item. However, in my neck of the hoods we don't really get that much snow. So when I do decide, ok yes, I'm getting them, I get stuck on do I get the ones with the higher ankle coverage, or the cute little short ones?

What are your thoughts on bean boots? Love them, hate them?

  1. I'm an ardent lover of Bean Boots. They're warm, practical, comfortable, and last forever. I have the 6" boots and wear them frequently, even when it's not snowing. However, the boots pictured in your entry are NOT Bean Boots.

  2. Love them! But as a Vermonter, they're a necessity!

  3. Opt for the short, cute ones. And whatever you do, DON'T buy a pair of Crocs!

  5. @sarah: they look like the new shearling lined, dark brown leather or buffalo version. They come with different colored soles.
